§ 8-41. Conditions.

  • (a)

    The number of rabbits or fowl shall not exceed ten rabbits or fowl for each household. Nine square feet of enclosed areas, exclusive of shed, shelter or coop, and such shed, shelter or coop shall contain an area of not less than two square feet for each rabbit or fowl.

    (b)

    The premises where the animals are housed should be kept clean, free of odor, and healthful for the animals and the public.

    (c)

    The shed, shelter, pen or enclosure for rabbits and fowl shall not be closer than 20 feet from the property line.
