§ 2-201. Town attorney.

  • The town attorney is appointed by the board of trustees and shall serve the needs of the town in an ethical and faithful manner consistent with terms and conditions agreed upon by both parties and detailed in a service contract. The contract will detail all service conditions, term of appointment and compensation. The town attorney will work closely with the town manager, town clerk and other staff as dictated by the town board of trustees.
